Flexider Industrial, also known as Flexider USA, became a part of Hyspan in 2019. Flexider Industrial/USA has business roots that date to 1921. They created a global legacy of innovation, expertise, and quality in metal bellows and fabric expansion joints. As an active member of the Expansion Joint Manufacturer’s Association, (EJMA), Flexider Industrial aided in the development and testing of metal bellows technologies. Engineering and manufacturing were performed in locations including Italy and the United States.

Primary industries supported by Flexider Industrial/USA include Petrochemical, Industrial Process, Power, and Maritime. Specialty Petrochemical applications include refinery fluid catalytic cracking, (FCC), expansion joints with 2-ply testable alloy bellows, refractory lining, external structures, internal insulation, and secondary seals. FCC expansion joints are a benchmark of Flexider Industrial/USA, a product recognized worldwide for excellent performance.

Hyspan is the only company worldwide designing and manufacturing all four-metal expansion joint technologies. These include bellows expansion joints, braided hose assemblies, Barco ball joints, and Perma-Pax packed slip joints. Fabric and rubber expansion joints are also available.

North American Engineering and Manufacture
All engineering and manufacturing for metal and fabric expansion joints, ball joints, slip joints, and metal hoses are performed by Hyspan in our North American factories located in the USA and Mexico. Other Hyspan expansion joint brands include American BOA, Anaconda/Anamet Industrial, Flexible Metal Inc. (FMI/FMH), and Barco.
